7:00 pm – Board of Directors met prior to the general membership meeting. These are the list of issues that were discussed:

7:35 pm – Meeting was called to order

Introduction of Officers: Mike Cumberland- President, John Hiser- treasurer, James Hacke- Secretary, Tom Horstman- Trap, Steve Gustkey- Pistol.

Treasurer’s Report: John read the report.

Bills and Communications: John paid Wolf Excavating for the work they did around the building. Also said that our CMP renewal certificate came.

Pop: Steve turned in $24.

Rental Committee Report: May 4th from 7-noon Penn State, May 11 all day Penn State, SRU May 13,14. May 14, 15 workdays at the club. May 18. Peggy turned in $250 from rentals.

Pistol Team: Steve announced pistol ended at the end of March. Pistol team took in $174, expenses $24, kept $45, turned in $105. The sectional match brought in $1,130, expenses $356, $175 went to awards, kept $180, turned in $419. The pistol team will be shooting on Thursdays, outdoor starting at 5 PM. 22 cal. & Centerfire 32, 38, & 45 cal. All welcome to come practice.

Trap Team: Tom said that trap practice will start on Tuesday, April 23. We will probably do a summer league again. $3.50 per round of 25 targets. Anyone is welcome to come and shoot.

Black Powder: Mike was absent tonight. 2nd Sunday of each month 11:00 am are the meat shoots (Black powder, closest to bullseye).

Junior Rifle Team: Mike was absent tonight. Shooting will be on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month from 6:30-8 pm and only cost $2. Contact Mike Ripley with any questions or interest.

Archery: Eric Beveridge and his boys will be working on building an outdoor archery range this summer.

Fun Indoor Shoot: Dickie said they will shoot until the end of April. He announced new classes to shoot in next year. There will be a scope class and a non-competition class. The fun shoot took in $240, expenses $40, turned in $185. They normally shoot every Monday 10 am-till shooting is done, doors open at 9 am. Everyone is welcome. .22 caliber rifles from a rested position. Closest to bullseye wins a prize.

Membership: Brian took in $685, key cards $50, maintenance fund $45, general fund $590. 26 new members for 2019, 416 senior life/charter members, 572 total club members. About 70 members didn’t return from 2018.

Old Business: Wolf Excavating has finished the drainage around the building.

New Business: Tom made mention as to cutting down the tree at the front corner of the building. The root system will more than likely damage the newly installed drain lines. Members that attended tonight’s meeting voted yes to removing the tree. U.S. Law shield will be at the club on April 24 from 6-8 PM to put on a seminar about using your weapon for protection.
